Technical Textiles
Custom flannelette and cotton flannel fabric manufactured in buyer-specified composition, GSM, width, nap, colour, construction and performance.

Hussain Enterprises manufactures custom flannelette fabric, a woven cloth with a soft surface produced by raising or brushing the fabric on one or both sides. Programs can be developed in 100% cotton or buyer-specified blends, with fibre content, warp and weft yarn count, thread density, weave, finished GSM, usable width, nap, colour route, shrinkage, fastness, strength, pilling, roll length and packing confirmed against the buyer's written specification.
Flannelette manufacturing
Flannelette is a woven fabric whose surface is raised or brushed to create a soft nap. Traditional constructions use cotton warp and soft-spun cotton weft, but a current order may use 100% cotton or a confirmed blend. The name describes the construction and surface finish, not a fibre guarantee or a check pattern.
Hussain Enterprises develops flannelette cloth for bulk textile, institutional and export requirements. Fibre content, weave, warp and weft count, ends and picks, finished mass, usable width, single- or double-side raising, nap direction and density, colour route, shrinkage, fastness, strength, pilling, treatment durability and roll packing can be controlled against the buyer's written specification.
Plain, double-end plain and twill bases can be evaluated. Colour routes can include bleached, piece-dyed, yarn-dyed and printed fabric, subject to the selected fibre blend and approval sample. Optional easy-care, anti-pilling, water-repellent and treated flame-retardant finishes are specified separately and must be evaluated against the required end-use test method.
These trade names overlap. Flannelette commonly refers to a cotton or cotton-blend flannel with a raised surface, while flannel is a broader name that may use wool, cotton, synthetics or blends. Every offer should therefore state the actual fibre percentage, construction, weight and finish.
View polyester cotton fabricFlannelette is a woven fabric with a soft raised or brushed surface. Its fibre composition, weave, weight and whether one or both sides are raised must be stated in the product specification.
The terms overlap in the textile trade, but they are not always interchangeable. Flannelette commonly describes a lighter cotton or cotton-blend napped fabric, while flannel is a broader category that can also include wool and synthetic constructions.
No. Traditional flannelette is associated with cotton, but modern constructions can include confirmed fibre blends. The exact fibre percentages are stated and approved for each order.
Yes. Finished GSM, usable width, warp and weft count, ends and picks, plain or twill construction, roll length and tolerances can be developed against the buyer's requirement and production feasibility.
Yes. Single-side or double-side raising can be specified together with the face, nap direction, density, cropping or shearing and an approved hand-feel sample.
Yes. Bleached, solid piece-dyed, yarn-dyed check or stripe and printed programs can be evaluated. The selected route, shade or artwork, colourfastness target, sample approval and quantity are confirmed before production.
Ordinary flannelette should not be treated as inherently fire retardant. A treated FR option can be evaluated only against the required destination, end use, test method, durability requirement and buyer approval.

Options shown are representative. Final material, dimensions, performance level, standard, testing, marking and documentation are confirmed against the buyer’s written requirement before supply.
